Host Mountain Music Festival This August
Palcall Tsumagoi Resort will once again combine music and mountain culture when it hosts the Palcall Music Festival on 14 August 2026. With free entry, the event will run from 11:00am on Friday through to 3:00am on Saturday, offering a full day and night of live entertainment in the mountains of Gunma Prefecture.
The festival will feature live performances from Nao Kodama, Razoku, THG and Happy Cats ft Victoria, Mahto, Manda, Shida and SMOM. There is also a lineup of DJs including Bungo, INDIGO, JUNO, KNT, Takahiko and Django will perform throughout the event, while OHTOSIT will serve as MC.
In addition to the music, the festival programme also includes mountain bike activities including the regular gondola accessed park. Enjoy the newly opened and improved Asama #42. The trail is Palcall Tsumagoi’s signature 5.5km flow trail, running from the gondola summit to the base. Designed for riders from beginner to intermediate level, the trail combines more technical corners and moderate gradients in the upper section with a smooth, flowing lower section, offering a long descent that follows the mountain’s ridges and valleys. The Magic Carpet MTB Dojo will also be running during the day giving a rare opportunity to get some turns in with the vibes of the Music Festival in the background, reflecting Palcall’s continued focus on combining outdoor recreation with its summer events.
